GMA Live Streams Notice 2020-10-26

As of 2020-10-26 at 03:00 UTC we are seeing network issues with streams coming and going (going offline and online from time to time)

We are sorry for this inconvenience and our engineers on site is investigating the issue and we'll report here when we have any updates.

2020-10-26 10:18 UTC We have partly resolved the issue but we still have intermittent outages and we are talking to our encoder-provider as to why these issues have appeared. Hopefully they can shine some light on the remaining issues before long.

There's currently a typhoon over Manila that may be causing issues as well. We'll keep you posted on this page as the typhoon and the issues move along.

2020-10-27 08:40 UTC The typhoon has passed and we are seeing issues going down and are adjusting to see if we can get them to disappear completely. We'll continue monitoring the situation and will note here when we will mark them as fixed.

2020-10-29 05:00 UTC We are still seeing some intermittent issues and are investigating the issues with the help of our on-site engineers, our CDN-engineers and the encoder-provider to see where the issues arise and how we can resolve them. In the mean time we will continue monitoring and resolving the intermittent issues as they happen - we are sorry for the inconvenience this may produce. We will keep this case open until they are fixed and we'll note here when we see the availability getting to a point where we see it being resolved.

2020-11-03 14:51 UTC We have intermittent issues still appearing and we are now working on resolving the same together with our ISP on the streaming origin end. It should be resolved shortly and when that has been resolved we'll add some more functionality into the system to make sure that the streams are working continuously.

2020-11-04 09:22 UTC The solution has been deployed and we are now monitoring to see if it works correctly and resolves the issues we have been seeing. We will be noting here and closing this issue if it gets to a point where we see it as resolved.
